Not sure if the Energi/PHEV would have been the better car or not, but, 1- I need the trunk space, I drive Uber 2- I have no place to charge the car anyway, live in an association 3- I frequently drive long hours. The Fusion Hybrid is a great car! It could have been greater, if they only had equipped it with a 1L 3Cyl, and doubled the output on the electric motors (to 80-120Kw), and increased the battery capacity. It would have been easy to get 50MPG out of it that way! Any tips or tricks you can recommend? Also, do replacement batteries come in Li-Ion form?

I replied to your other post ... I swapped the one from my '17 into the '20 with no issues. Don't believe the "doesn't fit" crap.

I had a '17 SE before the current FFH. I learned the insulator was missing BEFORE tradein, so simply detached it from the '17 and added it to the '20. The unit and clips is about $165 plus tax thru the dealer. You're right about the missing stuff and I agree the 2-use console was something very nice to have. If you had the Park Assist on your prior car - or anything like that - then there are sensors missing from the front bumper. They pretty much stripped the FFH for '19 and '20 models. I use the 12v socket in the tray area under the center stack. I only need one so it's not an issue for me.

As far as the decontent issues the 19/20 ford simplified the packages where you have to move up to a SEL to get heated seats, where they could be optioned on the 17/18 cars. I also know someone here was saying how ford took out some of the underhood weatherstriping on the 19/20s. That said the 19/20 models have the co-pilot 360 standard on the the SE and up so adaptive cruise would be nice and also these seems to be no reliability problems on the 19/20 where I think one person had to have his ECVT replaced his 18. If I had to do it all over again at this point I would get a certified pre owned from Ford to get the good warranty and get titanium or platinum like the poster above, that interior is drop dead gorgeous!

Not trunk but do have Steeda hood struts ... easy to install (driveway) and I don't need that damn pole! ? Look at Steeda and see if there is anything for the trunk. They might have something.

Back in the old days when Sync 2 (MFT) first came out, this was a regular occurrence. Some people would see it 2-3 times a day. But yes, it is a sign that the system has crashed.

It is the rear door that do not have insulators and there is more road and engine noise in the 2019 Fusion Energi than 2018 Fusion hybrid. We pay a lot for these car's. Ford I am disappointed with how you are treating customers this is my 10 ford it may be my last.
