larrylwill Report post Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) I saw somewhere what people were getting offered when their trial ran out. Mine ran out and I have never received anything from Sirius, So today I called them and they offered me 5 months for $20 but that was just music, Travel link was another $14. Then it would renew at normal prices. Has anybody got the full migalla auto renew for cheap.? I really could use the 80 station deal with travel link. Travel link is $2.00 per month and 80 station is $10 so $12 per month. Edited December 11, 2014 by larrylwill
jeff_h Report post Posted December 11, 2014 There's been a long running discussion on this in the thread below, I've been doing the dance of doing a new trial offer every 6 months to avoid getting locked in to a higher rate. http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7318-sirius-renewal-deals/
Hybrider Report post Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Their low-price packages are usually the "Select" package, which these days they show as either "140+" or "165+" channels, and includes some sports and comedy channels. But the Travel Link option never seems to be included in any packages, only as an add-on. But as has been experienced by others, it might all just depend on your negotiation skills when you call them. larrylwill Report post Posted December 11, 2014 The girl I talked to seemed to be in a hurry and every time I asked a question she had to almost start over, like she was reading from a script, I could hardly keep up with her. I'm going tomorrow to hopefully buy a small motor home and am conceding get sirius for it. I get the radio free but it will still cost min $12 per month. I might as well just go up a tier in my cell phone data plan for $10, I would get 1gb of data, which would get me all the internet radio stations, pandora and gps and travel link like info. Easy Rider Report post Posted December 11, 2014 But the Travel Link option never seems to be included in any packages, only as an add-on. If one has a recent smart phone, what's the use in getting the Travel Link features ? I think the over-priced GPS is pretty redundant so I don't see paying extra for more duplicated features.(But I haven't honestly checked them out either.) tr7driver Report post Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) The main advantage to me is the big screen for weather maps and nav, and the satellite signal our here in fly over country where cell service is sometimes often not available or reliable. When a storm is coming the weather maps are much better on the car screen for my old eyes.
