md13ffhguy Report post Posted October 20, 2014 Logged onto the "syncmyride" site to see about adding the second Fusion we purchased, only to find that it had already been added to my account. Thanks Ford! I can now just log on and click Switch Vehicle to choose either my 2013 or my wife's 2014. Now a question... The first thing I saw for the newly added car was that Sync needed to be activated. When asked to confirm my mobile phone number, I'm not sure how to proceed. My number was already in there by default, so of course, I wanted to change it to hers. I then get this message: Are you sure you want to change your mobile number?By changing your mobile number, the number that you previously used will no longer be linked to your SYNC Services and Vehicle Health Report. Please make sure that call blocker is turned OFF on this new phone. You may change your active mobile number again at any time in your Account Settings. It seems like I have to use the same number for both cars. Can this be right?

md13ffhguy Report post Posted October 20, 2014 Seems like the only solution might be to create a new, separate account, delete the new second car from the old account, and add it to the new...
hybridbear Report post Posted October 20, 2014 Hopefully Kim will explain it but it depends on what you want. If you want her to be able to run VHRs with her phone number in that car then you'd need a separate account. If you're just trying to use Sync Services in both cars then it's a different process. I find it all very confusing. 1 GrySql reacted to this
jeff_h Report post Posted October 20, 2014 This is why I use two separate email accounts, so each car is set to our respective cell phone numbers to run the VHRs as needed. I don't know if there was a way around that, but just used the two separate email addresses as an easy workaround. 1 GrySql reacted to this
FordIVTteam Report post Posted October 20, 2014 Seems like the only solution might be to create a new, separate account, delete the new second car from the old account, and add it to the new... Hi md13ffhguy, Please send me a PM with your VIN, mobile phone number, and email address. I'd also like to know your wife's VIN, mobile phone number, and email address. If you both plan to use SYNC Services, we will need to set up multiple accounts since only one phone number can be active on an account at a time. I'll let you know what I recommend once I pull up your information :). Hopefully Kim will explain it but it depends on what you want.
