Does it show up for your VIN in Etis or on the Ford Owner site? I just checked both places and it appears that our car isn't included in the seat recall but I didn't see any info about a MFT warranty extension. Thanks! hermans Report post Posted April 8, 2014 (edited) The warranty info about MFT shows up in ETIS. I also got the letter from Ford about both cars. Updated: Here's what ETIS currently shows on my FFH - 12M02 - SYNC WITH MYFORD/MYLINCOLN TOUCH - WARRANTY EXTENSION COVERING ACCESSORY PROTOCO L INTERFACE MODULE (APIM)13B03 - INSTALL LEATHER SHIFTER KNOB I was one the first to get my shift knob replaced (2/13) and ETIS still has not updated. traumatic Report post Posted April 23, 2014 This might have something to do with the new attention: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2014304150105No word though on whether there will be an upgrade for current cars (unlikely) or there will be a software upgrade. I worry that the 5 year warranty is completely useless if there is no more development of MFT and the product is left for dead.
wmpwi Report post Posted June 24, 2014 You make a very good point. I haven't seen new software for my Windows ME in a long time. No word though on whether there will be an upgrade for current cars (unlikely) or there will be a software upgrade. I worry that the 5 year warranty is completely useless if there is no more development of MFT and the product is left for dead. 1 Bryan Burch reacted to this
