Any way of turning off the MFT screen?

Is there any way of turning off the MFT screen? I can't seem to find the option.

I dont think there is one. There are times where turning it off would be nice, it can get pretty bright when you need to see out on a dark and stormy night, even with a black screen.

KLH I suspect the best you can do is to dim the display so it isn't so bright - or you could maybe make a plate the size of the screen with Velcro on the sides to darken it or cover it. Just a thought.

 

As for you Acdii - Love your honesty, now to be clear you don't want to take it also? The screen I mean...sorry can't resist and it is in poor taste to take advantage of a moderator when he is down...or is it? I think for you we should make an exception. :yahoo:

 

KLH - an explanation of sorts. Our illustrious moderator was once prepared to cross into Canada and 'borrow' (I'm being polite) a set of rims that came with the appearance package and mounted on MY CAR! After you do that the screen blacks out until you touch it again, then it resets back to 'Auto' mode.
