Howie411 Report post Posted January 31, 2014 Ok here is an odd one. So I decided to spray down the car tonight with the hose, finally "semi warm enough" to get the sand and salt off. I had the key fob in my winter coat jacket pocket and as I walked side to side spraying the car the doors would lock and unlock (like I was pressing the button). Same thing happened when I did the other side of the car. Anyone ever see this happen?
jeff_h Report post Posted January 31, 2014 Yes, happens to me all the time when I have the key within range... happened to me today when washing the car, it's my reminder to walk into the garage and leave the key out of range. I hit the unlock twice to make sure doors are unlocked so I can open them as needed, and then put it down since I don't want to hear the sensors go nuts. 2 hybridbear and TX NRG reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted February 1, 2014 I discovered that long ago, both my Fusion and Flex do that. So I just stick the key in the car when I wash it. Doors wont lock from the outside if the key is inside.
