ers26 Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Hi All, Just got my new Fusion on Saturday and I have been busy trying out all the features of MFT and Sync. Does anyone know how Voice guided turn by turn directions is supposed to work with Sync Services? When I get directions sent to my car from Sync Services, there are no voice prompts for any of the navigation commands. I can see the turn by turn directions on the display but there is no voice guidance. My car has the technology package which includes SYNC with MyFord Touch but I decided not to pay extra for the navigation system option. Just wondering if I am actually supposed to hear voice guidance with the turn by turn directions provided by Sync Services and if so, any thoughts on why they aren't coming through? Thanks, Ed

Thanks, Ed Hi Ed, Congrats on the new Fusion! This page is packed full of info on the turn by turn directions feature: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/getting-directions-sync-myford-touchYou are correct; you should be hearing voice guidance while using this option. Make sure the SYSTEM PROMPT VOLUME is turned up. Just press the 2 gears > SETTINGS > SYSTEM and you'll see this option. Kim
ers26 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 Thanks for the suggestion Kim. I actually spoke to a Ford Technology support person today and they had me do a system reset from MFT. This did the trick.and It also fixed my issue with Sync not reading my iPhone 5 text messages back to me. So far, things seem to be working OK now. Cheers, Ed

Ken Boyer Report post Posted July 13, 2014 Kim, I did the master reset and everything is fine now. Hopefully I won't have to do it again, although I've been seeing reports of others having to do this multiple times :(
FordIVTteam Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Kim, I did the master reset and everything is fine now. Hopefully I won't have to do it again, although I've been seeing reports of others having to do this multiple times :( Good; I'm glad everything is running smoothly again. The master reset is a great troubleshooting step but it shouldn't ever become routine. If you notice this concern returning, let me know. Kim
