Used my wipers for the first time today, and wow are they loud! Anyone else notice this? Maybe its because the car is so quiet....

?? Loud?

Mine are very quiet and efficient. I just used the heck out of them this last weekend.

It's part of the break in period ;-) but in all seriousness I had a really squeaky noise twice so far and it went away after some time.

I have not noticed any issue with loudness. I think they are very quiet actually.

Yea, totally agree. Maybe it's the cold weather, but I love these wiper blades

as they don't skip or chatter at all. Are you using the Ford OEM wipers, or

Trico/Anco/RainX, etc. ?

What do you mean by "loud"? Are you hearing the motors? The blades moving across the glass? I haven't noticed them as loud either, much like the above comments. However, without knowing what you mean by "loud", it's hard to know.

Its weird, it seems like on the downward stroke it makes the most noise. (it sounds like the noise when they go back into sleep position) Though if I turn them on super fast I don't hear them at all.

My drivers side squeals like crazy now that its cold out. They still clear the windows fine, so just turn up the music when I need them. :)

My driver side wiper seems to catch on the windshield and squeak really loudly.
