Just filled up my gas tank for the first time

Car said I was 45 miles to empty and I was averaging 40.6 mpg. I put in 10.827 gallons. Though seems a bit odd, thought this car had a 14 gallon tank, If 2 in reserve there is 1 gallon unaccounted for. (did I do that math correct?)

 

Anyways so far the car has 473 miles on it, but my #'s are a bit skewed because the car had 42 miles on it when I bought it and they refilled up the tank when I picked it up (and I'm pretty sure I did not reset the trip computer.

The tank has 13.5 gallons. Your fill-up was normal. My last fill-up had 35 miles remaining and I put in 11 gallons.

Our last fillip was for 10.2 gallons and it said 15 miles to empty.
