Renaming my motorcycle. Noble Steed Poll!

So I've been riding the bike alot lately after breaking in the new engine and it has been fantastic. I figured it was time I rename it to a "noble steed" as that is what is has become instead of its previous arbitrary names (Zooey before the engine upgrade, Sable after the engine upgrade).

 

I figured I would explain its personality and allow ya'll to choose its name.

 

The bike is a 2012 Harley-Davidson XL883N Iron Sportster. The engine was originally a 883cc that was converted to a 1250cc with high flow ported heads and high lift cams. These Quad Cam Evo Engines are virtually indestructible. Color is flat denim black...everywhere.

 

It is now no longer a loud open pipe mean drag racer style bike as it was when it was named Sable (as in my profile picture). I've added mini ape handlebars, a very large fluffy and comfortable seat with passenger seat and backrest with luggage rack, modified quiet original pipes with black BBQ pit paint on the heat shields, crash/highway bars, and a relatively large windshield.

 

Being a Sportster, it features no creature comforts of the Big Twins such as sound systems, heated grips/footwells, hard/attaches saddlebags, fuel gauges, or even a 6th gear (yes it's a 5-speed). That being said, it is still a lumbering beast at around 700lbs dressed, yet despite the heft, it is a nimble peg scraper in corners and accelerates willingly thanks to seemingly endless supply of torque at all RPMs.

 

If you did not know, Sportsters love their RPMs. The bike vibrates incessantly at idle thanks to the performance cams and seems like an excited bulldog after dumping its face in a bowl of water. The vibrations continue until about 3000 RPM, then smooth out completely for comfortable cruising at 4000 RPM, right in the power band. The new engine brings power whenever and wherever I request for it without hesitation and will easily peg the speedo with more in reserve. The quad cam valvetrain ticks and tocks continuously and is a virtue of any Sportster.

 

So as a summary, the bike is flat black and is bare to the essentials for rider comfort. It looks uncomfortable for its size, but is adequate for long distance with no frills. There is nothing remarkably special about it. It looks and acts clumsy when not in motion, but once the throttle is applied it rises to any challenge thrown at it. It will happily scream down the superslab at 4500 RPM longer than any rider could handle it.
