Opti Coat Anyone??

Has anyone on this forum had a detailer apply Opti Coat Pro??? Opti-coat Pro is rated to last 5 years. Curious to see how its holding up after that, since it cost about $500 to get done. Then again a 4-5 year wax may be worth that cost.

No, but I purchased the Final Seal product with a 5 year warranty, had it done before delivery.

The car beads up at 10 months, so far so good.

Some of those products work pretty damn good.. My Saturn sky had one from the dealer, don't know which. But it beaded great at 20months when I traded it in.

I can buy a lot of Zaino for $500, but then again, I sort of enjoy polishing the car. Having a sealer that lasts for 5 years though, that cost $500, if you pay someone to detail your car, usually costs about $100, so thats once a year for 5 years.

I can buy a lot of Meguiars for $500, but I also enjoy detailing my cars. I not even sure if I could have anyone else detail any of my cars.

 

If it does work as they say, it might be an easy way to enjoy the polished/waxed look without having to do much.

 

If you do get it, let us know how it works out.
