Right side entertainment display question

For those of you that listen to HD radio, do the song titles display for you on the right side instrument display when Entertainment is selected? Our car displays them for Sirius stations, but not HD stations. It's weird. They display fine on the MFT screen.

Yes, everything that's on the center display also shows up on the right hand display. I've found that the stations really vary on how well they keep that display up-to-date. (Running the latest MFT).

That's what I thought. There must be something wrong with ours. I did the MFT update myself. Maybe it didn't get done properly or something.

I still cant figure out how to force HD radio. My old truck you could hear a difference when it tuned in. On this one does it just tune in instantly?

No, I can hear a significant difference when HD activates. All background noise goes away.

You get the HD radio icon on the MLT screen, as well as the right side display as long as you have HD radio enabled in the settings. You can't force HD radio. Either the station broadcasts in HD, or it doesn't.

I have it enabled and it never picks up any of them. Never gives me the 1-2-3 option neither as we have quite a few channels that are better in 2-3 and not the standard ones.

+ 1 It sounds fantastic. CD quality. Unfortunately, it does go in and out of HD fairly often for me. We're out too far from the city.

I got my hd working.. It was turned on and wasn't working but turning it off and back on it worked.. Maybe a mft bug who knows

Let me know if you get the song display on the right side of the instrument panel. If I turn off HD, I get it. If I turn on HD, the song title kind of flashes in and out momentarily but then stops displaying altogether.

I don't think that's the problem because the song title displays fine on the MFT screen

Yes. The radio station displays as well as the type (e.g. Rock)

We don't have HD Radio in the SE, but the song titles usually display on both the center screen and the right side display. Occasionally the song title will update on the center screen but not on the right side display. This seems to happen most often while listening to Sirius and when flipping between stations. Sometimes the center screen will update with the new station and new song title, but the dash right screen will stay showing the old station and old song title.

 

This happens both in our FFH SE and in my parents' C-Max Energi with HD Radio. HD Radio song titles behaved the same as mentioned above with Sirius song titles. Sometimes the dash screen wouldn't update but the center screen would. I haven't observed what you mention above when I've been in the C-Max.
