Adding to your order

Is it possible to add to your order without losing your build spot in line?

From what I have read (there are some dealer reps on here that can tell more definitively) this is do-able while they order is in unscheduled status (unscheduled-clean) but once the VIN is assigned and build sent to plan for sequencing etc, then it's too late for changes. We had someone on here a few months back that wanted to change the car color at the last minute after the VIN was assigned and it was too late as the car showed up with the original color.
