I'm going along doing 65 and a asshole creeps up right before it turns into a wall maybe doing 70 tops.. I hit the brakes but I suspect the car hit me before me once it picked up something so close.. They are just another example of how our highways won't become significantly safer until they can engineer the driver out of the equation. I wonder what percentage of accidents could be avoided if drivers just practiced a some defensive driving techniques (like keeping even a modest following distance). djminfll Report post Posted September 4, 2013 People are such terrible drivers, I hate it when there are signs advising that the right lane is EXIT ONLY, and they stay in that lane right until the last second, then without signaling, they just move into the next lane.
