djminfll Report post Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) I looked on this forum for information about this, but couldn't find anything - if it has already been posted but I missed it, please accept my apology.I got this letter yesterday, "Enhancements to support.ford.com and MyFord Touch Software." It referred me to log in to support.ford.com, where my VIN indicated a pending update. The info provided is:Make: FordModel: Fusion HybridYear: 2013Current SYNC Version: Gen2 - V3.6.2Software Update Available: DA5T-14D544BD Gen2 - V3.6.2It then states to call dealership to complete the udpate.Has anyone else gotten a letter from Ford indicating an enhancement to MFT? Didn't Ford just update the MFT software? I had confirmed that mine was up to date, but now the support site states that I am pending an update. pteronaut Report post Posted August 27, 2013 I didn't get any mailed information, yet, but the support site shows the update as a dealer installed version, and by online chat it was confirmed that it contains the same software that I had installed myself on 8/7. SteveB_TX Report post Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) 3.6.2 came out in August and wasn't available in March. What am I missing? My MAIN sync page shows my last "confirmed" update was back in May 2013, and that there is an update available. But, on the update HISTORY page, it also shows "confirmed" Aug 5 update to 3.6.2. Twice confirmed actually. Downloaded twice too. For some reason the updates are not showing up properly. I also received a letter telling me to take my car to the dealer for the 3.6.2 update. As I have stated before, it seems Fords right hand does not know what its left hand is doing. ;) Edited August 28, 2013 by SteveB_TX

I checked my account and I see the same thing. On the main page, last update date is March, History shows I updated to 3.6.2 on Aug 6 twice - I only downloaded the software once. It also shows that 3.5.1 was installed twice on March 22nd.
JimArch Report post Posted August 28, 2013 I spoke with Rebecca at Ford on this one via fbook, and she said: Hi, Jim! No need to go to your dealership. We are working on correcting the website. V3.6.2 is the latest. 1 SteveB_TX reacted to this

SteveB_TX Report post Posted August 28, 2013 I want to see another update. The issues with the phone number not showing up on the right screen all the time is a pain. Really? Never seen that problem. It's my messaging system that is hit or miss after the update. :(
Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 28, 2013 When your on bluetooth calls check your right screen and see if it says unknown name unknown number. Also I do see the same issue as you on the messaging. If you get a message when you try to play a previous message it freezes up and wont even let you cancel. But you can exit messaging mode and go back to any of the other modes.
madmax87 Report post Posted August 30, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone, New to the site but have had my 2013 Fusion Hybrid Titanium since May. Love it. Just reading about the upgrade and did receive the notice in the mail. Went ahead and installed it myself. All you need is a memory stick. It was very easy. Haven't tried the text messaging yet to see if I have an issue. Everything seems to work fine so far. Edited August 30, 2013 by madmax87

auser99 Report post Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) Prior to updating to 3.6.2, I was unable to properly sync my jailbroken iPhone 5.. it would connect but I was unable to make calls or play music. This update seems to fixed all of the bugs! Yes! I'm back in business. BTW - I updated the software myself.. although my letter from Ford says it must be done at a dealer.
