My intent is to break out into an easy to find new topic, just for finding the 135/90R-16 Continental CST17 compact spare tire (CST). I have gotten great advice on other threads, and what I found right now is that the wheel may be ordered through Ford, with good availability. The tire though is hard to find, either through Ford, a Conti dealer, or even Ebay (which may be used/old stock) I went to my Nissan dealer, after learning that the Nissan Altima uses this tire for their CST, and was able to order one with a 4 day delivery date, without a wheel of course.To be honest I did not price either the wheel or tire, since for me this combo is a must have before I take any out of town trips. I believe this will be close to $300 when done and mounted in the trunk with a jack. The dealer has good availability here in South Cackalacky, so hopefully that will be true elsewhere.
