I remember reading on fords site that the nav system will play dvd movies while in park. Anybody know if this actually works? Mine just keeps spitting the dvd back out at me.

It doesn't do it using the built-in CD player. Connect a DVD player to the yellow, red, and white jacks in the console storage area.

I believe the Fusions prior to 2013 were able to play them from the build-in drive. They removed that functionality in ours ...

That's weird because it does say it in the sales brochure for my mkz. Maybe the new 3.6.2 update removed it :/.. Hopefully they didn't disable mp3 playback from dvd too

Looked again just now. It lists dvd/vcd and mp3 in the sales brochure. Also I see aol autos and motor trend listing testing the feature that with the thx system I have star wars sounds full surround sound.

If anybody has any ideas let me know. Maybe there's a setting I have to change.
