I got my second renewal letter from SiriusXM, my 6-month subscription expires on 8/23.

The letter offers six months for $29.94 or 12 months for $95.

Does anyone know what kind of deals are offered after the six months for $29.94 expires? Six months seems like such a short period of time, especially considering how the first six have flown by! I'd love to be able to keep renewing every six months for $29.94, but I doubt that will be available.

I have an XM radio that has not has a subscription since 2009. Every two months or so I get an email offering six months for $25 with no activation fee. It has been the same offer for the last four years.

If you have not had a subscription since 2009, have you been paying monthly? Or has it just continued to work without paying for it?

It is an inactive radio. They want me to re-activate it but I have no need for it anymore. I already have two XM radios in the house with lifetime subscriptions and now a Sirrius radio in the car on the trial subscription.

OIC. But it still doesn't answer what will be offered after the second six months expires. Anybody know the answer?

There are many deals out there. You just have to call and negotiate. I don't think anybody pays the $199. for the Premiere.

If you get those letters in the mail you pay with check and they cant renew u auto after. So you get another one shortly after it expired. Usually within 10 days.

Just wait until you have had 10 different radios with them. I had 3 XM and 7 Sirius radios. I get so many offers I dont have a clue on which radio they are referring to.

Is this from swapping your cars so often? And are you trying single handedly trying to keep USPS a float with you the junk mail you get from Sirius?

My subscription was going to expire on 8/23, so I renewed for 6 months for $29.95. After taxes and fees, it was $38 or $6.50 per month. I'll see what offers I can negotiate in Feb when this agreement expires. Hopefully, I can continue at this rate. After all, they are broadcasting whether I subscribe or not so $30 is better for them than $0, right?

Received my first renewal letter today and I hate to say it but they are wasting their money trying to get my money for a subscription.

Yep. had an XM account for the Hyundai Veracruz, one for the TCH, one for a portable, and then 3 2010 Fords, the 2012 F150 , and now 3 2013 Fords.

I have yet to turn it on in either of the two new ones.
