40 MPG - non-hybrid Fusion

Could be the 2.5 L4, those have been known to get great MPG, very similar to the 2.5 in the 10-12 FFH, but Otto Cycle. Curious to know.

Makes me wonder why they didnt continue to use the 2.5 in the new FFH drivetrain since it was doing so well in the old one. It really is an efficient engine. I always got mid 40's doing 65 to 70 on the interstate in it.
