gmarshall Report post Posted August 9, 2013 After I loaded SYNC Gen 2 Ver 3.6.2 I noticed a couple of differences in the way some things operated and worked, anyone else noticed any major changes. 1. No longer have the ability to use lower case characters from keyboard when loading names into favorites in navigation or anywhere else the keyboard is used. 2. No longer when on a navigation screen before you could touch the screen during a route and the icons would pop up and one of the choices was cancel route, no longer an option. Please post any other changes that you may have noticed.
neod192 Report post Posted August 19, 2013 When I click the "i" icon at the bottom, there's a new screen on the left "Where am I? It shows the current street, the next intersection coming up, last intersection and GPS coordinates. I don't remember seeing that screen before the update. I was playing with the phone settings, trying to figure out how to turn off the call disconnected voice thing, which I think is a new feature too. When I was done I noticed he i turned yellow, and there was a Sync message regarding the change I made.
Waldo Report post Posted August 19, 2013 The yellow I has always been there, it would turn if there was an error message or something like your Sirius subscription expired. The "Where Am I" has also always been there, but I think before it was under one of the sub-menus
13FFH Report post Posted August 20, 2013 I've noticed a difference in how the backup camera works. Prior to update, backup camera displayed when shifted into Reverse and then back to the MyFord Touch quadrant when shifted into Drive. Now, there is a delay when shifted back to Drive. The backup camera remains on until speed is up to 5mph. Prefered the before behavior.

I turned it off when I first got the car! :) 2 hybridbear and 13FFH reacted to this

Found it and after a couple of enable/disables, I think it finally stuck. I don't recall disabling that feature when we took delivery, but then again, that's been 7 months ago! 1 SteveB_TX reacted to this
Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 20, 2013 I thought the delay delayed the camera coming on. Not exiting.

acdii Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I prefer it so I can see where I have been. Actually that delay feature started in the F150 and SUV for backing to a trailer. This way you can see the hitch and trailer as you pull forward a bit to line up.
