I was just looking for this. Strange result after seeing so many Fusions recently but I also see a lot of Altimas.

Well, not everyone likes driving a Cool car, and would much rather have a soap box, plain Jane appliance instead.

That's very disappointing. I think other manufacturers are offering more incentives to drive sales too. Also, I'm not a believer in small turbo engines as a way to save gas. I think Ford needs to step it up on the gas only vehicles.

Dependability history of Japanese automaker got something do with consumers decision buying, Ford needed to keep up the good work, time will favor Ford.

Ford will be bringing this number up alot once oct hits. By than the 2nd fusion plant will be in full force and they will be pumping out alot more cars. I believe I read somewhere like 19k more fusions can be produced a month once they get to capacity.

That is part of the reason, They are selling quite well, but cant produce enough of them to meet demand, so other car companies get the sales instead. A few members here recently went that route. Ford couldn't deliver so they went elsewhere. With the MFT issues that put a bad mark against Ford would be the other reason. People hear that Ford has reliability issues, but dont take the time to find out just what is being reference and think the cars aren't that good, when in reality its just people arent keen to spend the time to learn a new system, one that is buggy too, and give it a bad rap. That sends potential buyers elsewhere too.
