Rupert Report post Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) Whenever I use a voice command to play a track, a random track is played after the current one is finished. If I give the voice command to turn off shuffle or do it manually, it still plays a random song after using a voice command to play a track. It's as if shuffle is the default setting when using voice commands to play an individual track. However, this does not happen if I use a voice command to play an album. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I'm very new to this car (got it last Friday) and I've never had a system like this before. Edit: I was wrong about this. acdii Report post Posted June 17, 2013 You are not the only one having this happen. I had shuffle turned off, and it played songs out of order from my USB stick. Another glitch I found, I had turned shuffle back on, and next time I started the car, it was playing tracks in order, and shuffle was turned off. Still trying to figure that one out. Rupert Report post Posted June 18, 2013 I wish I still had this problem, ha ha. Now I can't play anything through Sync because the iPod is always indexing. I heard the best way to fix this problem is to pull the fuse out and put it back in but I can't find it. I know it's somewhere under the steering wheel. What's it look like? :headscratch: I've been very spoiled by the voice command capability for the week it was working. I think member wailer has a picture in his gallery where he attached the ambient lighting. Have you tried the reboot program for MFT which doesn't reset your settings? Can anyone verify which fuse needs to be pulled?I am not an expert at fixing your problem, this is just for the Fuse location. The numbers printed on the end of the Fuses refer to their strength, ie, 10 Amp, 15 Amp, 30 Amp before the fusible link melts - and there are many 30A Fuses. As Corncobs said, Page 246 shows the position and the number of each fuse that can be inserted in the Fuse Panel.The Page 246 figure of the Fuse Panel is the only reference to the 'position', it shows you 'where' to look in that fuse box. On Page 248 the list of Fuses shows what they are used for and that at the 32 position is a 10Amp Fuse, at the 33 position is a 20Amp Fuse.The Fuse at position 33 says it is for the 'Radio, Active noise Control' - try that.If that doesn't work, replace that and try the one at position 32. I just wanted to see if anyone knew exactly which fuse to pull before I tried it, because I know it's going to be a bit of a problem for me to pull the fuse. Rupert Report post Posted July 4, 2013 I don't use the iTunes library so I wasn't sure how to use that SyncMyiTunes program. Anyway, it's no longer indexing. Now it says that my iPod is unsupported. I also tried putting some songs on a USB stick and it says that's unsupported as well. I've looked all over through online searches and it seems the only garaunteed method of fixing this is pulling the fuse and that's something I'm unable to do. Oh well. I'm actually lucky that Sync only lasted a week. That's better than getting really used to the convenience of voice commands for months or so, and then having it stop working. This seems like a very common problem and I'm not going to the dealer every time this happens so I'm giving up on it for now. Thanks for everyone trying to help me out. corncobs Report post Posted July 4, 2013 Different question when you look at the properties of you music files do you see the # (track number) being set correctly?
