ROB281 Report post Posted June 11, 2013 let me rephrase the brake locks up after it's parked, not while moving though I can drive somewhere, park, get back in to go, and it's locked in place sometimes with enough throttle it will release, sometimes I just pull up on the brake, and it will release been planning on having it checked out, now it WILL be checked out when I turn it in for recall work 1 Fastronaut reacted to this

Glad you aren't sitting stuck somewhere. Getting it checked is absolutely the right thing to do. After you do, a follow-up post on this thread about anything found would be great. Fastronaut Report post Posted June 17, 2013 The story is almost over. Today, the old VIN went back and was repurchased by Ford under the Maryland Lemon Law. We picked up an identical VIN, except for floor mats. There was a slight nick in the vehicle display screen that will have to be replaced, but all seems good to go -- FINALLY :drop: :yahoo: Originally ordered a Fusion in June 2012 and finally have a "keeper" (we hope). 5 fusionTX, acdii, corncobs and 2 others reacted to this

hermans Report post Posted June 19, 2013 I had a car that I bought in AZ and bought back by Ford in California. Ford even paid me for the sales tax I paid in AZ. The car was supposed to have been destroyed by was later found to have been resold in AZ. I was contacted by the AZ Attorney General and had to give a statement. Ford was being sued by the State of AZ. All I know is I got my new car. 1 corncobs reacted to this

hermans Report post Posted June 20, 2013 Nope, it's an old experience. I've talked elsewhere about an Escort SW that blew the engine @348 miles due to low engine oil from manufacture.
