both LASooner and malibu3105 ordered Ruby Reds over a month after I did. The Commodity Hold did not seem to impact them. Bet they are both in large markets.

 

But it actually was the Ruby Red color that pushed you back. I ordered about 7 weeks earlier than you did, but my build date was only four weeks before yours. My build was originally scheduled for the week of March 25th but didn't get built until April 9th because of that maddening commodity hold. Everyone with numbers higher than mine presumably got pushed back by the same amount although many of them were never given build dates that had to be rescheduled. In this era of Just-In-Time parts delivery, it was very frustrating to have manufacture delayed two weeks for lack of paint, of all things.

You can update mine with a build date of 4/17 if I'm reading ETIS right. This is what it shows:

i believe this shows my VIN number......so i guess you can put it down as assigned...im not sure what date exactly.....i get updates every two weeks from dealer......So...where can i go from here to monitor the build??

Your VIN was assigned on April 11th - when it was first scheduled for production.

If I am reading the visibility report correct, it looks like you have a build day of May 13 ?? Anyone know if I am correct? I am not sure how to read these.

 

I added the VIN to the sheet, but what is weird is that your VIN is identical to my CAR #2 VIN except for the DR number. How can that be ?? Weird.
