LED Tail Lights

Does anyone know if the red tailllights on the SE are supposed to illuminate? I have seen pictures of other Fusions with the fully illuminated lights and mine don't light at all. Are these full lights on the Titanium? Or is there something wrong with mine?

If you are referring to the trunk lights, the are only on the Ti models.

Something's wrong with yours: It's an SE and not a Titanium :) One of the many reasons I waited 5 and a half months to get my Titanium ... Well worth it !

Check out neod's new photo gallery. You can see the titanium tail lights they only light up around the edge like that in the titanium model.

Thanks for the responses - mine is an SE, so I guess it's working the way it's supposed to. Too bad, I think it looks so much better with the exterior light illuminated.

Oh well, I just couldn't afford the extra for the Titanium. :(

Maybe you can buy the titanium tail lights and throw them in there? I probably looked it up wrong but I think they are $423 each. Doh!

I wish we had the Titanium lights too...oh well. We also couldn't afford the HyTi and didn't want to wait so many months to get it either

Meh, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's not like you see the car from the back while you're driving it. The only time you'd see it is if you got out of your car and walked around to look at while stopped, who does that? I agree it does look better for those watching you pass by though.

So far, no features on the HyTi's are more appealing to me, even collectively, than Dune interior. That's a matter of preference for me. If they had offered Dune in Titaniums, I would have had a tough decision. Though it probably wouldn't have been financially responsible to do the HyTi in the end anyways.

Dune comes in 2014.... also iirc, the tail lights are LED on the Ti and bulbs on the SE.

Why would they change from LED to bulbs next year? That would mean a whole new lens assembly.
