Well, hopefully, unless his does have that hard to find Flux capacitor, it wont be 2012 :)

It really is hit and miss and doesn't seem to have much rhyme or reason but I suppose there is somewhere.... some cars will get built and right onto a train within a day or two, and some go to 'offsite' and sit there for days or weeks, unknown of there are QA issues being worked out or just a holding area.

I guess priority doesn't mean anything since I have priority 2.

 

See the below post if you haven't seen it before, purportedly written by a Ford dealer and while it's several years old, so is the ordering system I guess, so I would assume it is as current as when it was written.... anyway, #2 in the post notes that once a VIN is assigned and build date established, after that the priority code means nothing. Whether that's true or not I have no idea, just going by the post referenced below and just keep in mind that there have been things written on the internet that haven't been totally accurate, hard to believe I know!
