Yay...got a scheduled to day of 4-8-13.. one month after I ordered it from dealer....

We're both in Columbus, OH. I placed my order in late December, almost 2.5 months before you did, and my car was built 3 DAYS before yours. The ETAs are now the same. What dealer ordered for you??? (Mine is Germain.)

Glad to hear I'm not alone with delivery delays. I ordered mt FHH around 2/1 with q build date in ETIS of 2/23. As of a few days ago, its still in Mexico with no delivery ETA. Any suggestions for turning up the heat with either dealer, twitter or regional customer relations? So far, my efforts have not made any difference. Its quite frustrating to know that its been built for 2 months but not yet delivered.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

I got a price from Germain, but they were off base in their quote. They couldnt come close to the deal I got from Coughlin ford in Johnstown. I live in Dublin, but the professionalism I am getting from Coughlin is great. My car is in Illinois now. Where abouts is yours?

I could drive down there and say hi for you ? it's just half hour from my office and probably closer than acdii.

Hopefully I will get you car sooner than later and can enjoy it after you took delivery.

Hi everyone in the FFH forum. I waited on joining until I physically bought my FFH Titanium. It came in today after I placed the order on 01/04/2013. I will be picking it up tomorrow at 3:30pm. She is a beauty. I am contemplating on purchasing the extended warranty for an additional $2250.00, includes a 7year/100,000 mile protection plan on everything. This might be good because we keep our cars to the end. Did anyone opt for this? I would think for the price of the vehicle the 7year warranty would be included.

Yes but I chose to save hundreds from what the dealer offered... go to floodfordesp.com and get the same Ford warranty for a lot less, I have bought 3 from them in the past.

I talked to my salesperson a couple of days ago about delivery. By the by, he is useless. I have gotten great info from Trina at Ford. Anyhoos, he said that some FFHs go somewhere for quality control. He further said that the ETA is often the1st day of about a week when delivery should occur. My ETA is 5-8, so using the logic just stated maybe by the end of the week of the 8th. Who the h,,, knows?

Wow! Now that is a wait. Guess I should stop complaining. Congrats and enjoy!

Yes, some go to Flat Rock for additional actions... back in October-December a LOT of them were going to Flat Rock, though not nearly as many now... watching the tracking threads I think I saw one last week, but that's a pretty small sample as only covers those who start a thread in BOF.

You've gotten more information from your dealer than I have. All they can tell me is that it's holding without any ETA, and that I need to be patient. Not such a great experience considering my FFH has been built since the end of February.

Whoa, WAY high. Go here, print out the page you like and tell them to meet it or beat it: http://www.floodfordesp.com/

When they won't, order from Flood (or other dealer willing to match).

I would bet a buck or two that the vast majority of dealers know the prices for ESP plans online, however they count on most customers NOT knowing this and thus they make a lot of profit that way. Personally I wouldn't print out the quote and ask the dealer to match it, why approach a dealer that was going to give you a markup of over $500 and buy from them to give them a profit of around $100??? Instead why not print out the quote and tell the dealer that you're not buying from them and here's why (but like I said, I bet thhey already know the numbers)... or 'just say no' and move on. I ask the dealer to print out their numbers so I can think about it, and then I go home and compare online and see how inflated the dealer prices are.

I took delivery of my new HyTi on yesterday!!! It's sharp!!! Thanks to all of you who who constantly provide good insight on all things Fusion and always have nothing but the best wishes for those who receive their cars, regardless of how long you actually wait to get yours. The learning curve just started for me. I mentioned the crackling noise to the dealership GM and he had no knowledge of this; so if mine starts showing the same problem I'll come back for the latest info from this forum. I'll post some pics soon.

So, I don't remember what day I placed the order, but have the Vin, and have the sticker, and betting that this Friday ETIS will have the build date. The only thing changed on the order was the color from Blue to Black. I think it was end of March, and its mid May now, so right on the money of 6-8 weeks to be built. If my calculations are correct the car should be arriving first week of June.

Wow! I thought that trading in the 2013 SE on the Flex was the final move for acdii in 2013. Are you trading the new Flex for another 2013FFH or are you trading the '10 FFH for the new car?

The 10. By the time I pay off the 10 it will be 7 years old with 300K on it, so might as well get the most out of it now while I can. A new one would be 5 years old when paid off and hopefully fewer miles. The Flex stays, no WAY am I giving that one up! That dang thing has me spoiled now. I found out yesterday that my wife is contemplating a new job out of carpool range, so having a car with a full warranty on it for her is also a good idea. If its a shorter distance, then fewer miles on it, but we are driving 2 vehicles again.

Only reason I considered it is the extended service contract got SNAFU'd, and no longer valid, and its past the cutoff point for it now. The AC compressor sounds like a banshee, the dash has this damned squeak that I cant find and drives me nuts, and the seat gives me a back ache. I never really liked the car as much as I liked the Sport, but it gets good MPG and that was all that really mattered. The car is OK, but after driving the new one for 8400 miles, going back to the 10 was like getting into a camry.

I had stopped by the dealer last night, they have their 10th anniversary gala going on, and I bought my F350 from them a few days after they took over 10 years ago, so it was only fitting. I won a $2 bill too. They have a Titanium 2.0 in Ruby Red so I got a chance to check out the Ti level, I noticed the seat isnt as soft as the SE, but still comfortable and my wife said she didnt feel like she was sitting in a hole like she did in the SE. I saw the aluminum pedals and thought didnt matter if the HyTi had them or not, they are OK, but nothing spectacular, besides, only your foot sees them. The tailpipes though, really sucks they left them off the HyTi, they really do set the car apart, but maybe they left them off due to weight. Made me want it even more. They price on the car cant be beat either, after TTL and subtract the waste leftover from my trade it comes out to 34500. Figure the taxes and other fees come out to around $1400, $33,100 is the selling price, MSRP is $36,820. I had shopped around and no one came close.
