gl419 Report post Posted March 21, 2013 I placed my FFH SE order 12/18/12. Ruby Red / Dune Leather interior, and all of the options with the exception of remote start. Unit was built 2/19/13. Got sticker around 2/27/13. Started following status and found out it was "Awaiting Shipping" since 2/20/13. It is still in the "Awaiting Shipping" mode and nobody, Dealer, Ford Twitter, Ford Chat can tell me anything else. Finally called Ford Customer service and got a case number assigned 3/19. Regional Sales Manager called be back today, 3/20 and said his current info gives no more detail. Said he is sending a request to Mexico on status and will call me back either tomorrow or Monday 3/25. All I'm asking for is reasonable response. If there are problems or if its on hold for quality check "OK", just let me know. Just saying its "Awaiting Shipping" is driving me nuts. What kind of customer service is that?? shaggy314 Report post Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) I gave LJ Ford a deposit 1/10 and the DORA shows the order entered 1/15, Tuesday before allocation Wednesday. It all the same order week, so I don't think I missed out much. Oddly I didn't have a ROV on the Energi order, but the order is there. Then again, I'm on week 10 of unscheduled clean... If it's been two weeks since you last talked with them, probably worth another call and ask for the sales manager, then tell them you want to know the VIN and the scheduled build week... based on looking at all of the Titanium Hybrid orders on here, I would say that as of two weeks ago there was just a small percentage that had their VINs and build weeks, and now it appears that the small percentage are the ones who do not have those. There are those that still are waiting and have nothing yet, and hopefully those will get scheduled very soon. MTGilby Report post Posted March 24, 2013 Called my salesman on Fri., they are arranging for me through Vincent to keep my rebates this coming Fri. the 29th, and while we were talking the sales manager checked the system and said I got another $750 rebate from Ford, I had ordered some brochures and one on the fusion hybrid had a $750 rebate in it. Still don't have a delivery date, but the regional customer service rep is supposed to call tomorrow. Will update if he gives any more info, hoping for early April, will be getting close to 10 to 11 weeks by then.I guess patience is a virtue, but it's hard to wait. I don't think there is a rule of thumb on that one, as I've seen some on here get a VIN and a build week of 1-2 weeks later, whereas on my car I ordered in October, got a VIN 4 weeks later and the scheduled build week was 4 weeks out... so I checked online for the window sticker pretty regularly, didn't see it available online until the Friday night before my build week -- and then my build got kicked into the following week so it was another week after the original forecast that my car was finally built. wacevedo Report post Posted March 28, 2013 Received my VIN Mar 25th. Windows sticker visible on Mar 26. Nothing on ETIS but got build date of April 5th from Cyberdman (BOF). Also just received a brochure on the mail a couple days ago with the $750 private cash offer,applicable to my HyTi order. Expiration date of 5/14/13. My dealership confirmed no issue issuing claim # in VINCENT to lock it in. Wound up with $2000 in rebates (the $500 regular one, $750 Ranger owner loyalty {it would have expired Apr 1, I have had 3 1969, 1988 and now 1999}, $750 from a ford fusion hybrid brochure ordered in my wifes name. Asked where the car was and he said in Illinois on UP. Don't understand why it can't come straight north to Montana but oh well. He said it should be here next week. So, ordered Jan. 25, VIN Feb 26th, build date Mar 22, on train Mar 23, hope here next week so for a total of 10 weeks. Some people have been waiting way longer than me so maybe a bit of advice call Ford Customer Service early and put a bug in their ear and things may move faster. MTGilby Report post Posted April 1, 2013 Just another update, got a call from my regional customer service rep today with more waiting, my dealer thought my car would be here this week, well the rep says the 20th. The car has to go Michigan for "quality assurance." hopefully it passes and heads this way. If it is the 20th that means 12 weeks from order to delivery. I will repeat patience is a virtue, but its wearing a little thin. At least all the rebates are locked in so won't cost any more than time. Neod192 yes its a plain jane bordeaux red SE.
