FFH'13 Sightings

So far I have only seen one other FFH '13 around my neck of the woods.. and it was at a hotel parking lot.. my wife said they were probably from out of town...

I know of one person who has a Hybrid and is also not at all pleased with the miles. He traded a 2012 that got consistent 43 MPG, and I confirmed, I looked at his display, and sure enough 43 MPG, and he is having difficulty getting any where near 40 in his new one, and he has the 17" Energy Savers. The only other ones I saw, other than one that drove off the lot yesterday, was a white one from Wisconsin, and another Hybrid in a parking lot.

In recent weeks, I've seen about 5 or so. And probably an slightly higher number of Titaniums. None from people I know.

Stopped by my local dealer last weekend for touchup paint for my wife's car (got doored), saw a Ruby Red SE Hybrid that looked just like mine (except it had dune interior, mine has charcoal) and was getting prepped for delivery as the anxious customer was inside with the salesman.

I have seen a few lately. I saw my first Hybrid last week in white and today I saw an SE 2.0L (dual exhaust) on my way to work.

 

Hope to get mine next week to add to the sightings!

I have seen two 2013 Fusions on the road in this area but neither were hybrids.

I saw a whole bunch today, they were all lined up nice and neat,,,on a dealers lot.

Saw the first one on the road yesterday. Ruby Red Hybrid, except this was an SE and I ordered a TI. Looked nice.

I've seen a few in the last week, two were hybrids. And I saw one at the dog park, and the owner was leaving at the same time as me. We had a chance to talk for a few minutes, he loves his, says he is getting over 40 mpg consistently over the 6 weeks that he has had it.

Saw one on Once upon a time. It was turning right in one of the scenes.

I was sitting at a T-junction last week in my Ruby FFH, waiting to turn left, turning right was my identical twin Ruby FFH, he waved and I mouthed "nice car", yup there are more and more popping up in NoVa.

I've seen a few here and there; have seen a white one a couple of times and a grey one, also. Don't know if they were hybrids. I always wave but the drivers always look preoccupied. Probably enjoying all the bells and whistles and too busy to notice another Fusion.

Saw 3 today on the way to work, Silver, Gray and Red. I saw more today than I have since I bought mine.

It's a good feeling, isn't it? My husband's family had a little reunion yesterday and when we pulled up everyone came out and they all raved about the "great looking" car. They talked about how nice it was for a good part of our visit. Made me feel very good about my choice!

Wife saw a Bordeaux tonight, I missed it.

Just the other day I was driving home and noticed a truck loaded to the brim with Fusion's I was on the phone with my wife and told her it was a dream come true. Of course now she's making fun of me...

I actually saw the one I bought on the truck on its way to the dealer, before I had even considered buying one.

Be at the Jones Rd exit on 290 east bound at about 5:10 AM or at the 529 on ramp 290 west bound at 4:05 PM and you'll see a white one going slow and holding up traffic.

Only saw one on the road on my weelend trip to St. Louis and back. It was a white one but not able to tell if it was a hybrid or not. Saw several Fusions in dealer lots in the St. Louis area. Today I saw a black one right here in the gated retirement community where I live. It was going away from me on a cross street and couldn't tell if it was a hybrid or not.
