My first post here - Ruby Red Hybrid

Hi everyone! This is my first post here, but I have been browsing for close to a month now. Some of you maybe recognize my screen name from Blue Oval Forums. Glad to find a forum decidated to the Hybrid, so I can share experiences, driving tips, etc.

 

If I knew how to resize my pics I have to post here I would, but I am pretty duh when it comes to that type of thing. I hope to wash it my hand this weekend, since it is supposed to be around 60 :) My first 2 fillups are shown in my signature below, and I am averaging just over 40 on my 3rd tank so far (almost half used). my lifetime average is up to an even 37. Not bad considering the winter weather etc. One thing I have learned, is that keeping the climate control off, especially when it is first started each day, makes a big difference in how quickly the EV mode will kick in.

Lets see if I can add pics from my Facebook to here. I haven't taken any since the first few days I had the car. Hope to have better ones once I can finally wash it by hand.

Needs whiskers, then the Fusion really will look like a catfish. LOL My wife said she will put whiskers on my car when I told her it looks like a catfish. I just gave her a withering stare.

I spent an hour and a half tonight cleaning out my garage so my car could be "warmer"....imagine a car in a garage! lol. First time in many years:

That color is just as nice and pleasing on the eyes as the Deep Impact Blue. Add in the white and they are very patriotic!

Nice, only difference with mine are the wheels as I have the standard 17" wheels -- I was also cleaning on Saturday.. looked great for a few days, but this morning ruined it with snow and a whole lotta salt on the road, oh well.
