MarkOnMac Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Is the order number on the DORA? If so, where? I need something to give to Ford chat for them to help me track my order. Thanks.
neod192 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 So I just checked out the first Energi Titanium at my dealer :-) It arrived today and it wasn't prepped yet. The car is already sold to a lucky buyer so I couldn't drive it, but I got the key and was able to sit in it and take lots of pics. It has the buttons for lights/sunroof and it doesn't have the aluminum pedal covers. They have another one (also sold) coming in on the 10th - it's already in MI. jeff_h Report post Posted March 8, 2013 Is the order number on the DORA? If so, where? I need something to give to Ford chat for them to help me track my order. Thanks. See the attached Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC), where my order number is K301 on the top left. If you have a printout and can't decipher it, you can scan and post it and someone will surely be able to figure it out.

jeff_h Report post Posted March 8, 2013 On my VOC (see attached), the order number is 0001, which makes me think it won't be very useful. Well that's the order number... but wow priority '80' is pretty low on the totem pole, though the priorities are managed within a dealer rather than across them. Note on mine that priority was '11' which is the next-best priority to '10' which I had for my first order. But with this you should be able to go to the chat and tell them you want to make sure your retail order has been accepted and is being processed, and ask them to check dealer F71040 order 0001 and they can look at that order (which may have 1 or more cars ordered on it) and match it up with your car model and options, then ask them to verify whether you have a build week assigned, whether you are unscheduled-clean, or whether they don't see the order. MarkOnMac Report post Posted March 8, 2013 It's the biggest Ford dealer by volume in the world, apparently, so that makes priority 80 less painful.Thanks.
fusionTX Report post Posted March 8, 2013 On my VOC (see attached), the order number is 0001, which makes me think it won't be very useful.[img=http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/public/style_images/zuzuskin/attachicon.gif] Mark_VOC.png Thanks, Jeff. Are you sure that's the official VOC? I was given one by my salesperson when I made the order, but it wasn't the official one. She did not place the order. It was placed by someone else a couple of days later. So even if you went home with a VOC the day you ordered, it doesn't mean it's the official one. At least that's how it worked out in my case. The VOC I took home had priority 19. The real on has 10. MarkOnMac Report post Posted March 8, 2013 I don't know if it's the final version, but it is the one I was asked to sign. All my interactions with the dealer have been via email and phone. I've never been to the dealership or met anyone who works there.

OK well go on chat and give it a try, they may also be able to look you up by dealer code and your last name if the order number is incorrect... I don't know if they can but since the VOC has a customer name in it, worth a try.
MarkOnMac Report post Posted March 8, 2013 I gave it a try but without a real order number she couldn't help. She said to try again when I got my VIN. :banghead: I just got my VIN! How does one look up the window sticker, if it exists?

I'm in touch with the dealership but they don't have any word from Ford either. I'm glad for this forum tho'. At least I feel like I'm getting some information! milleron Report post Posted March 9, 2013 Got a VIN and a build date for my Titanium Hybrid a few days ago. It's scheduled for the week of March 25th with delivery to my dealer, in Ohio, around "early to mid-April."Does anyone have any insight into the margin of error to be expected with these estimates? jeff_h Report post Posted March 9, 2013 That early to mid April estimate is made up by your dealer. Ford hasn't provided an ETA for any of these cars yet. Exactly -- that's a 'if everything falls into place' estimate, and it might turn out that way (so no I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer), but there has been some uneven shipping releases (for lack of a better term) where some cars will be built and get right onto a rail car within a day or two, and others will get put into "time out" and be stuck over in a lot, or in an inspection facility, or whatever. So until you see that your car has been built and is actually on a rail car (your dealer should be able to help tracking this), don't put the for-sale sign on your current car just yet.
