My dealer just called me and it looks like they're going to start scheduling them on February 28th. This is the first date my dealer actually received from Ford - I've asked them many times before and all they knew was that it's on hold until further notice.

Not quite the news we all wanted to hear, but it's better than an indefinite hold :victory:

That might be within reason if your dealer received notice that Ford issued OK TO BUY. Do you know if he got that?

She didn't mention the OK to buy and I didn't think of asking.

They start scheduling them tomorrow and production starts the week of march 11 so your dealer lied to you or he's just covering his ass.

I hope you're right!

Why are you so confident? lol. Do you know something we don't? Just curious if your info comes from other sources than a dealership. :poke:

Just an FYI, TT my dealership yesterday and they said production in March as well. I figure Ford is going to do everything in their power to get at least a few cars out before the end of Q1. That way they can always fall back on "we said we;d have them out by the first quarter of 2013..."

Doesnt look like it is actually at the dealer though, the build and price inventory search shows as dealer ordered, which means still in transit.

What zip code/dealer was this ordered for? How do you find that out?

I just received this email from one of the dealers I was working with recently. I already bought my SE, but I thought this information might be useful here.

Dear Scott,

HI, Scott this is David Bagby At Tommie Vaughn Ford. I am writing you today to let you know that the scheduling of Fusion Hybrid Titanium is planned for Feb. 21st and production to begin on March 11th. Initially we’ll be very limited on production but if you want we can order one for you.

Once we are in contact with each other, we will be able to address any questions you might have about ordering or locating your desired vehicle. I would also be happy to meet with you at your convenience to discuss these options in person.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached either by replying to this e-mail or by phone at (713) 802-6640.

Thank you for your interest. I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Just noticed on BOF Jeff T posted an email from his dealer with specifics in regards to scheduling of Hybrid Titanium's. Ford's going to schedule a limited number (14) stock orders later today. It says that "scheduling of this model has been approved" (I guess that's on OK to buy status), Lastly, "Retail order scheduling of the Hybrid Titanium model is tentatively planned to begin the 28th."

Thanks to Jeff T who's always on point with these updates across ALL social media outlets!

This update gives me get hope that we're going to start seeing more and more VIN's and possibly start seeing cars arrive at dealerships in the next 4-6 weeks. :hi5:

They must have been building HiTi dealer stock for some time now here, is another one in the Kansas City metro area zip 64015.

As I search there are tons of SE Hybrids, I would think only a few dealers in large metro areas are going to order HiTi's for stock.

So... Maybe they will start with dealer orders soon?

That one was also built on December 19th, 2012 - same build date as the one acdii posted.

Looking at these window stickers, I noticed the base price went down by $100, same as on the Energi Titanium! The Hybrid & Energi SE are the same.

What gives? Just got this Commodity and Constraint email from my dealer in response to asking about Fusion HyTi scheduling:

FUSION – Commodities will vary by dealer

On February 21 – Scheduling Unscheduled Allocation in Week 8

Until further notice, orders with Ginger Ale paint (JY) will not be selected for scheduling.

Until further notice, Fusion Titanium Hybrid orders (P0R), retail or stock, will not be available for

scheduling.

Until the Okay to Buy has been achieved, retail Fusion Energi PHEV orders (P0P or P0S) will not be

selected for scheduling.

Please consider ordering the optional 18” Gloss Black Aluminum Wheel (64M) when ordering an SE with

205B.

Please note that you must be a certified dealer in order to be eligible to schedule a Fusion Energi PHEV (

So what does this mean if I ordered my black FFHT back in November. Is it still going to be scheduled?

Apparently the HyTi is on perpetual back order. You will never find out why, or when with the current method they use. When looking up a VIN for a supposed HyTi that is listed on a dealers page with a build date from last december, looks a little deceiving. If it was built back then, it should have arrived by now.
