pers69 Report post Posted February 12, 2013 If Mama's not happy, nobody's happy ... :) A happy wife is a happy life. Happy to hear I can climb off the ledge what with the posted build of the one HyTi. Hope to see some retail build dates on Cyberdman's thread soon. dlramon Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Looks like it might be a good idea for me to call Ford Customer Service soon to check on my order (placed on 11/19/12). Has anyone been tracking build week vs exterior color? From posts on this site (1 from myself and at least 2 others), it seems that last week Ruby Red was the dominant exterior color built. Of course my curiosity stems from my own order color - White Platinum Tri-coat and how that might place my build start date.

cwb1183 Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Where are you able to plug in that VIN and see the specs etc? I've been waiting and waiting for a production date because my dealer says they can't give me an purchase exact price until the production has started Something is weird about your dealer. I had the Ti Hi x plan prices in late October.
pers69 Report post Posted February 12, 2013 I would be vigorously searching out other dealers.
Riggo Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Did you guys get good deals on your car though? Other dealers have given me price quotes but they ar all pretty high.
jeff_h Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Did you guys get good deals on your car though? Other dealers have given me price quotes but they ar all pretty high. Mine was about $200 over invoice (was not x-plan, straight retail order) and then throw in the tax/tags/dealer processing fee stuff... I've looked at the pricing of several dealers in the area and sent you a PM with those that seem to be more reasonable than others.

Fastronaut Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Quick question is job 2 the same as priority 2Job2 is not the same as Priority 2. Dealers can set priority down as low as 10. Ford can lower priority number (actually lower is better, with 1 the highest).

acdii Report post Posted February 12, 2013 Job# refers to the assembly run. Job 1 is the first batch of cars off the line. Any changes to the vehicles, such as updates, different components, styles are then compiled, and when the line is ready, Job 2 starts up. The HyTi happens to be one of these changes so its a Job 2 build. Job 3 is usually towards the end of the model year, with any updates and such for that run of cars. Job 3 is usually the best time to get a car built as it incorporates all the updates and changes from the previous runs, and may include items for the next model year.
