Schedule to date

Is the "Schedule to date" the day it will be built? I just received it today for 1-11-2013.

That is an optomistic estimate. Mine slipped a day. Others have had worse slips. Some pulled in.

If you have a scheduled-to-day of Jan 11th it could slip but shouldn't be by a lot. My original order was scheduled for the build week of Dec 3rd, was actually built on 10-11 December.

 

You have your VIN now, right? Go to www.etis.ford.com each day around that time and your actual build date gets updated within a day of when it's built, at least from what I've seen on the ones that I've sampled. And if you go on that site you'll see it's a global site so the date format may be different than you're accustomed to, and don't worry they aren't really building a transit connect for you.

Thanks, I'm watching for the window sticker and it hasn't come up yet. That should have the build date on it, unless that gets printed after its on the line. Anyway 1/11 is tentative.

If you ordered a Fusion the build date is not on the sticker. The date on the bottom right is the date the sticker was created. I know the site says the build date is on the sticker, but that's not the case. Take a good look at the sticker because what is on it is the way your car will be built. There's no changing that.

You too coach you should be able to smell the mexican air inside it pretty soon! Even I can't understand why it went all the way north it did on the train. It 'd be like flying to florida via chicago. Gonna check for the window sticker again.

I noted in an above post that I had a build week of Dec 3rd and it didn't get built until the 11th. Also probably should have noted that my window sticker didn't show up until 2 days before the build week and date on the sticker said 11/30/12, and then a few days later the date on the sticker changed to 12/5/12.

 

But you are getting close, check each day and before long there it is!

My update today had it on union pacific passing strauss new mexico at 02:54 mt. Hope I don't find a rattler in it when it gets here. I really don't need a new belt right now.

Also, once you get a railcar # you can track it as follows:

 

Here's how to track your ETTX railcar.

 

1. Call CSX at 1-800-235-2352

2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.

3. When prompted for the car initials, say ETTX then wait for the next prompt. OR key in 32-81-81-92 (for ETTX)(letter and position on your phone)

4. When prompted for the car number, say or key in your 6-digit ETTX car number

5. When prompted for next car say DONE.

That info only works for CSX trains. I posted the info somewhere for Union Pacific. Mine went Union Pacific and I tracked it all the way.

I was able to use that CSX method for my rail journey on a Union Pacific train all the way to the unload destination in Spring Texas. I was not able to get the ETTX XXXXXX info into into the UP system but CSX worked easily.
