DrPhil Report post Posted December 31, 2012 I just called Ford's Marketing department regarding this mailing. He re-checked the mailing # and verified it was NOT good on the Ford Fusion Hybrid. I asked WHY it was not specified in the EXCLUDED list and he mentioned that the coupon does state "See dealer for details". False advertising if you ask me......... oh well. I'm still getting an excellent trade in value on my truck and paying invoice on car....... guess I shouldn't complain too much :)~Phil
jeff_h Report post Posted December 31, 2012 False advertising if you ask me......... oh well. My guess is that it was more of sloppy marketing as the brochures were printed specifically with the phrase "The offer you didn't expect" and it was on a brochure that included the hybrid model but did NOT include the caveat that hybrids were not included? IMHO, they should honor it and manually put a $750 coupon for you in that system, since it did specify the $750 offer for you. I got the brochure too, but it didn't include the $750 offer so there was just a blank space that looked awkward & stupid.
acdii Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Considering how the 47MPG is becoming false advertising, does this really surprise anyone?
DrPhil Report post Posted January 1, 2013 Well............... I opt'd to go with the 1.6 Ecoboost instead of the Hybrid. I was able to buy the Fusion SE 1.6 Ecoboost (with the recall fix already done obviously) at invoice, minus another $1750 in incentives. Added on luxury and tech package and moonroof. Impact blue with dune leather interior. Can't wait to pick it up. Excellent KBB trade in on my truck was $17,100....... they gave me $17k...... I was quite impressed. With that being said, I am now on the wrong forum :-( Once day I'll go hybrid, but for now I just couldn't justify the price difference (the incentives really helped).~Phil
terryb Report post Posted January 1, 2013 So, it would appear you got the $1000 for the gas engine and $750 for the private offer coupon.

terryb Report post Posted January 3, 2013 We weren't able to access anything except the $500 for a cash deal yesterday. The 33938 does not show up for me or my zip code. I got invoice minus the $500 but wouldn't have minded having an additional $750 off.Wish I could figure out the qualifications for getting the FFH capable coupon. Which Houston dealer did you purchase from? Would you recommend them?I was ready to order my titanium thru X-plan before holidays. The one dealership I had been dealing with refused to honor the X-plan at this time and basically offered me MSRP. Being in no hurry to order ( or even sure if this is the right car yet) it was easy to walk away. I contacted a 2nd dealership near my house and they would honor the X-plan but added a $550 Adv Fee and. $50 fuel fee. I'm pretty sure they will lower this to get a deal done, but again, I am taking my time.

wazzul Report post Posted January 8, 2013 Ask your dealer to look it up, I got he same but when I had them look me up they said there were 2 in the system and they tried it with a Hybrid and it worked.Of course I have to wait on my build and have to hope the coupon isn't expired when my car finally arrives. SalvadorAssumpcao Report post Posted January 8, 2013 cwb1183, definitely check with the dealer (I did at closing).Between printed brochures we ordered (Fusion Hybrid and C-Max), email just like yours, and my acct at owner.ford.com, we had different fine print for what seemed to be the same program - 33938, which is probably what you have under "claim in VINCENT using #XXXXX" In the end, I just gave the dealer my customer ID (which owner.ford.com listed as "certificate number"), he looked up in Vincent, came back and said total rebate was $1250. Pretty happy about that.
fusionTX Report post Posted January 9, 2013 My name is in the system twice with $750 coupons that are good for the Fusion Hybrid. Unfortunately they expire in early March, so I may not get to use them on a Titanium.
Former Expedition owner Report post Posted January 9, 2013 I ordered a Fusion Hybrid Titanium on Monday January 7th, thinking it was the day production started. Not. After stumbling upon this forum and reading this thread, I logged into the owner.ford.com website and ordered 3 brochures, C-Max, Fusion Hybrid, and Fusion Energi. I'm hoping I get a valid $750 rebate coupon. Will post when I receive the info in the mail.
wazzul Report post Posted January 9, 2013 Be careful everyone, while it is reassuring to have a coupon in hand, if they don't start building until middle of Feb chances are those coupons will be expired by the time they're arriving at our dealerships! I have one but dealer said it expires March 7th, I'm expecting that to be expired. Hopefully we will start seeing these coupons that don't expire until April or May! My plan is to start ordering more once I see my car has shipped. Then I'll order more brochures in my name and my wifes, just in case I'm already in the system..
