Antenna Ripped Off!

Hello everyone,

 

I have been looking for a solution to replacing the mount cover for my antenna. I came home from a deployment to find my antenna had been ripped off my car by some punk kids in my apartment complex. Ford wants $122 for the base. They say the only way to get the mount cover is to buy it with the base. Does anyone know of an after market solution that may even be smaller? Maybe even a shark fin type? I looked all over the place and it is hard to find one. Thanks in advanced.

If you don't want to pay full price, have you tried any nearby salvage yards? With about 200k-400k (don't know the exact number but I think that's the ballpark) 2010 Fusions that were sold, there has to be a good number of totalled vehicles out there -- some of the salvage yards I've been to are part of a cooperative network that will work with each other to find a given part, maybe this is an option for you?

I use this on my 2011 Explorer and plan to transfer it over to a new Fusion. Has an integrated AM/FM antenna, they paint it to match your paint code.
