  1. I posted about this a while ago in another thread, but I think it's time to create a sseparate thread for it because this is now happening more frequently. I pretty much always have the climate control on Auto, temps set to 72, with AC either on or off. Sometimes when I press the radio "On" button to turn on the radio, the climate control resets itself in various ways. The last time I noticed the Max Defrost (left-most light) was on and of course the fan goes to high. At other times (I think) other items turn on with other lights. It's easy to reset back to Auto and turn off what I don't want on, but since it's happening more frequently I'd like to get to the bottom of it. I can't recreate it on demand. It might not happen for a few days, or maybe two or three times in one day, but still not near 50% of the times I press the radio On button. It's never happened when turning the radio off. Any ideas? I have MFT, no Nav, the "normal" (not Sony) radio.
  2. Yesterday I was driving home from work and I was listening to 100.5, one of the presets on FM1. Suddenly there was no sound and I figured the station had a momentary loss of signal, so I tried switching to another station to check. There was no response to my input on the touchscreen so I tried switching to SiriusXM...nothing. Tried switching to CD and again, no response. I tried switching to FM2, no response. I reached into my center console and got my USB reboot stick and plugged it in. MFT did it's thing and at the next red light, I shut off the car and opened the door so it would reboot and everything came back to normal. Has anyone else seen this? That's like the 3rd time I've had to reboot MFT in the 7-1/2 Mos. I've had the car each time for a different reason. Glad I made that USB stick!
  3. Hello everyone, I have been looking for a solution to replacing the mount cover for my antenna. I came home from a deployment to find my antenna had been ripped off my car by some punk kids in my apartment complex. Ford wants $122 for the base. They say the only way to get the mount cover is to buy it with the base. Does anyone know of an after market solution that may even be smaller? Maybe even a shark fin type? I looked all over the place and it is hard to find one. Thanks in advanced.
