what is that weird antennae device located on top of the windshield?

I noticed a device ..a rectangle device with 2 antenaes sticking out...its sorta near the rear view mirror but more higher up...sorry for sounding like a noob..but what is it?

Agree, that has to be the remote start antenna.

Mine was actually installed in Mexico, after the car was built. They did it in a seperate garage. It arrived at the dealership already to go.

 

I just wish it was the 2-way. But it still has pretty good range. Far better than the Integrated Key Fob.

The car left the factory with the remote start, but was installed at the dealer. Mine was listed on the window sticker. It is a plug and play. The antenea is installed and the safety switch under the hood. All the wires hooked-up, and the remotes programmed. Mine works good. The advantage to the two way radio style remote, is you get a light to tell you the car started.
