Serious Audio Problem...

All right werllme and my friend where going to add a amp and sub to a stock 2006 Ford Fusion, by adding a input converter. Well we had stripped a few wires, got the amp hooked up, and then the front left door sounds shitty. It sound all cracky, so we took it out, and it stil sounded shitty. So then we cut all the wires from the harness, and soldered new wires connections. Still the same. But the front right door works perfectly fine? Please help! I really need some help

I've dealt with tons of audio before, either the connection is just not good, OR your wire gauge is too low. what gauge are you using for the wire? Well ok this is what seems most likely. Also, are you running the amp off this channel? Because if the resistance on the circuit is too low, even at low volumes the speaker will crackle and not sound right. My guess is the Fusion stock unit can't do anything but 4 ohms.

Im not sure exactly what gauage wire but it is thicker and has more copper than the original speaker wire. Also what way do you guys recomend for attaching the speaker wires?

Check the wiring harness at the speaker in the door. Sometimes the wires become loose at the harness and don't make the connection fully.

Generaly speaking if you have a "bad" connection the audio will not work at all. You said that the speaker sounded "shitty". If by shitty you mean crackling, popping, and scratching then you have most likely blown that speaker. I say this because a " blown" speaker will still play audio but it will sound.......well...shitty!

put 28awg wire to a speaker and see how it sounds, the connection could be perfect but the speaker would sound like shit. Unlikely he blew the speaker, it would most likely blow if he played it at max volume and it was at a crazy amount of distortion. Polypropylene cones don't blow like old paper cones do, the voice coil usually burns out first, which would make the speaker very very soft and crackly, but he said he just turned the stereo on and it didn't work. When would it have blown? I think that's a better question. As in according to the info we have, it doesn't seem possible. Also a wire is like a chain in the respect it is only as strong as it's weakest link, any damage to the wire going to the speaker, or any bad connection will make the speaker sound like crap.

Any audio you cut or copy one slide to another is not actually displaying or using that file, even though the audio editor would lead you to believe that. Any editing of or any audio volume changes now seems to add unrecoverable audio artifacts in the audio editor that, given enough edits, can make your audio unintelligible.
