Shadowy spot on paint

Got my car washed today and I noticed a spot on the top of the door/window area that looks like a shadow (see attached picture) at a close look almost seems like a dark finger print. I can rub the area and it doesn't feel any different. Any suggestions on what it may be and how to clean the area up?

Might have been an area the factory wet sanded and buffed out an imperfectionin in the finish. The area may need to be rebuffed with a light

compound and waxed. But is hard to really tell from the picture if thats the case.
