Dad2JandH Report post Posted August 8, 2010 Hi,Hoping someone can give me some suggestions. My 2006 Fusion's front, driver side turn signal does not work (both when the turn signal is on, and the hazard lights are on). The rear signal works fine. I have swapped the driver side and passenger side bulb, and it works fine on the passenger side only. I have also swapped the sockets that the bulb goes in, same result... works fine on the passenger side, doesn't work on the driver side. Any suggestions? Thanks! drolds1 Report post Posted August 23, 2010 What part of Smart Junction Box did you miss in the other thread? Yes. Have you checked the fuses in the SJB? The front end module (FEM) controls the signal lights. That's another possibility.

Artie - I think SJB and FEM are synonymous. I think the fuses and relays are in the power distribution box under the hood.

On some cars, there's a fused wire from the SJB to a separate FEM. I don't have a manual for the CD3s. I wanted to get a subscription to AlldataDIY but If you can believe it, they don't have anything on the 2010's yet.. The cars have been out for over a year. The LS definitely had a FEM separate from the front SJB. Example

When I heard about having to reset the SJB and getting codes from it I assumed it was the equivalent of the FEM just with a different name.
Dad2JandH Report post Posted August 23, 2010 What part of Smart Junction Box did you miss in the other thread? Wow, are you always this much of a douche bag? I did not see any other posts that described the same issue I was having. Anyway, I did need to have the smart junction box replaced/reprogrammed. Dad2JandH Report post Posted August 23, 2010 same problem here, does anyone else had it? Took it to the dealer, they replaced/reprogrammed the smart junction box. Cost about $500. For a freakin' blinker.....

That wasn't directed at you - it was directed at Kapusta who asked the same question in a different topic where the solution (smart junction box) had already been posted. Wow, are you always this much of a douche bag? Only with people who ask questions that have already been answered.
