Smooth_J Report post Posted June 30, 2010 Question for everyone...my new car has a problem with the rubber molding near the middle of the drivers side and passenger door. Apparently when it was installed, it wasn't installed correctly and caused it to break in some areas. Now I put the molding back on track, however it appears to be a bit torn in some areas. Do you think Ford will cover this even though it "appears" to be normal, even though its not... :/

If your vehicle is still under Warranty and the tears were not caused by obvious abuse, there is a good chance it will be covered. However, taking into consideration we don't know whether your car is still under Warranty, what the problem area looks like, possible causes of the breaks etc etc., my advice would be to make a Service appointment and show it to the Service Adviser. They will take it from there and let you know whether is a Warranty covered item. Let us know the outcome. Good luck. :beerchug:
