djcraig Report post Posted June 15, 2010 Does anyone know if the side moldings on the 2010 Fusions are the same as the older models? I want to get some side skirts for my Fusion but have not found any for the 2010 models other than the sport rocker moldings. There are plenty available for the older models I'm just not sure if they would fit.

Hi dj. :D Not sure if I completely understand your question, but I will give it a shot: There were no factory "side moldings" or "side skirts" (aka "rocker panel extensions") available on any model of the 2006-2009 model Fusions. Not even as an option. Only aftermarket side skirts were available for the 2006-2009's. The first (and so far only) Fusion available from the factory with "side skirts" is the 2010 Fusion Sport. However, any aftermarket side skirts available for the 2006-2009 Fusion will also fit the 2010 model Fusion, since that area of the car has not changed for 2010. Just be careful of who you purchase from, since quality obviously and customer service varies according to manufacturer and seller. Good luck. :beerchug: Edited June 18, 2010 by bbf2530
unowho007 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 Looking at the same issue about side skirts for my 2010 fusion. Front and rear bumpers look good just something is missing between the wheel wells. I was thinking going to the dealer to see how much the side skirts are worth from a 2010 sport Fusion. Seen a few Fusion Sports at the dealers and they look just fine for me.
