LED rear Licence plate bulbs

Has anyone done this with a Fusion? will this throw an error code to CPU?. I've seen other cars with this with the bright white lighted rear plate......it's got to be LED's right?.

I've installed them on my 06..they work great and no problems. Bought them off ebay for $12

bought a set off ebay 6mos later it melted my platic casing and was unable to get the bulbs off. Just stick with stock but if you have money to buy new lamp cases then do it looks nice though..
