sbrueggie Report post Posted March 12, 2010 sumbapui - The last kit I bought for my '05 Camry ($47 shipped) were pretty good as well. Only thing I noticed were every once in a while the balasts would flicker almost like the current wasn't consistent. Mainly at the stop light or pulling in/out of the driveway is when I noticed. Any issues with yours? Thanks -

blueandred Report post Posted March 19, 2010 What is the correct bulb type kit for the 2010 Fusion? Is it H1 or H11? Have you experienced problems with the light output? (i.e. does it bother cars in front of you or incoming?) I ordered a Fusion (company car but will be mine after 4 years) and one of the things I did not like were the halogen bulbs with the projectors, the lamp intensity was very low (I´m used to xenons with my volvo so I really felt the Fusion´s lamps were really not that good). Thinking about installing HIDs when I get the car but I don´t want to become a hazzard to other drivers like most aftermarket installations. I know projectors help a lot with the diffusion of light on HIDs. Thanks
deo1929 Report post Posted March 20, 2010 If someone could educate me, I'd appreciate it. What is the main benefit of going to the HID....lamp life? Brightness (Duh!)? And do they have the sharp cut-off at the top of the light beam as the stock lamps do? Thanks.

And do they have the sharp cut-off at the top of the light beam as the stock lamps do? Thanks. HID's are much brighter. they offer increased night time visibility. i have pictures in my topic on my HID install in the low beams and fog lights. check it out. the first two pictures only have HID's in the low beams. the rest are of both fogs and low beams with HID bulbs. They cutoff for the low beams is not that sharp, i will be opening the projectors up to attempt to fix it. the fog lights have a super sharp and clean cutoff. heres the link to my topic http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?/topic/3291-hid-install/page__p__21303__fromsearch__1entry21303 Edited March 24, 2010 by jona2125

Dj Freddy D Report post Posted May 14, 2010 low beams only for me and when I get some time or before winter I will replace the fogs to yellows. For the seller: Goggle Xexonwholesale88 and you will find his store.
Dj Freddy D Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Like the author of this thread has done I too have used a 55W set instead of the 35W set. The 35W set gave me flickering issues. This can be fixed if you grab power straight from the battery but this requires an aftermarket relay harness to be installed.
mr_maenpaa Report post Posted June 12, 2010 i used a 35w kit on my car and have had no problems. the kits i ordered came with a special ballist to keep me from having the "light out" warning so idk if that has anything to do with it or not? check the link below my name to check them out
