Y,know, it doesn't need to be on the floor to accelerate to a high rate of speed. I can easily get to 110 with less than half throttle. The throttle just needs to stick in a position that causes acceleration, it doesn't need to be wide open to go very fast.

I do. It still amazes me each time how hard these hybrids accelerate when you lay the hammer on the loud pedal. Did it just a few hours ago to pass a semi who wasn't getting out of the high speed lane on I71.
