2010 Sport Blue SEL Report post Posted January 27, 2010 Can anyone advise me on a replacement grille for my '10 Sport? The mag chloride that they on the roads out here has already caused my plastic grille to spot, fade, and stain at 8K miles. Looking for something that I can install myself. Thank you...It's a slow day at work so out of curiosity I did a search. Check out www.partswebsite.com/fordpartswebsiteIt looks like the grille comes in three sections, upper, middle and lower. The cost: upper, $182.34, middle, $99.24 and lower, $90.11 for a total of $371.69. That's only for the grille pieces. The blow up illustration shows many additional parts to complete the installation. Hope this helps.
FtLewis2002 Report post Posted January 28, 2010 They use mag chloride out here, and it hasn't damaged mine. yet. Every now and then I hear about it happening, so I have to wonder if it was a bad factory job, or what?
the_clem87 Report post Posted February 1, 2010 After 10,000kms the lower, driver side section of my grille has started to bubble over an 8" area. The weather here has been well below freezing, the city uses a rediculous amount of road salt and I get frequent car washes. i wonder if the moisture has gotten under here, frozen, and then expanded which has possibly bubbled the grille? Anyone else have this issue? I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow to get a few answers and push for a new grille.

acdii Report post Posted February 2, 2010 So I went to the dealer today and they ordered a replacement grille. No questions asked. They are pretty good with that, unless it is an emblem. The R fell off the TownCar on the trunk lid of my mom's car, they wouldn't replace it, said the car wash could have knocked it off. :( A graphic defect like the chrome bubbling though, they usually replace those no questions asked.
