f150harley Report post Posted December 31, 2009 I need a little help, I have an 08 sel sport. The other day I was driving and the system poped up and said Compass No Response? I figured maybe just a fuse blew so I checked it and its fine, I looked to see if there was anyother fuse but nothing I could find. The auto dimming on the mirror isnt working either? Has anyone ever had this happen? or can help? Hi f150. :D You say that the auto-dim feature also is not working. However, you have a question mark at the end of the sentence. Does that mean you are not sure if the auto dim is working or not? Is it possible you somehow damaged the power line that runs to the compass/mirror? There is a calibration procedure for the compass listed in the Owners Manual. Try recalibrating the compass to see if it helps. If the fuse/fuses for the compass and mirror are okay, and the calibration procedure does not work, then a trip to the Dealer for service is probably the next step. Let us know how you make out.
