muskie Report post Posted December 18, 2009 I drove Mark VIIIs from 86-08 primarily for seats comfort as I have back issues. I bought an '09 fusion and am pleasedexcept for the seats. The seat causes me neck and shoulder pain and I think it is because the upper portion of the seat pushes my shoulders forward. I can't seem to sit with a straight back. I know people have had problems with the headrest but this is not the problem with me. Are there any options for replacing the seats, ie Recaro or others? Would an MKZ seat be better and fit?
