sync update not completed

Hi,

 

I attempted the update to 3.0 (for traffic, etc), got the first confirmation of installation complete, but removed the flash drive from the usb port before getting the 2nd confirmation (that reboot was complete). Any insight as to how best to finish that reboot?

Hi John. :D If you have not already done so, attempt a reinstall as though you were doing it from scratch. And this time leave the flash drive in until you receive the second confirmation. The system should accept the installation.

 

If it does not, I would recommend going to the SYNCmyride website and contacting the SYNC Tech Team for instructions.

Thanks! I actually did already try what you suggested, and it worked! Now I just have to figure out where the traffic module is on the syncmyride site, and i'll be ready to try it out. maybe it will appear once i actually report my update successful. we will see. :)
